"Where should I send my photos?"
Please post them to Scanero, Whitehall, 75 School Lane, Hartford, Northwich, Cheshire, England, CW8 1PF.
"Can I deliver/pickup my photos in person?"
Yes, we accept deliveries on a Monday and Thursday at the above address between 9.30 - 17.00 on weekdays. Please order online, and use the coupon code NOPOST to deduct our normal postage charges. Once your order is scanned, we will contact you to arrange collection.
"Do you charge for postage?"
For orders under £100, we charge a set rate of £4.99. Orders over £100 have free postage.
"How can I pay for my order?"
Scanero accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as Paypal. If paying by card, you will be taken to Paypal's secure credit card page. Note: Paypal account is not required.
"Can I order extra copies of the CD/DVD with my scanned photos on?"
Yes, there is the option to buy additional CD/DVD's under 'Product Options' at the bottom of each product page.
"How long will it take for you to get my photos back to me?"
Most orders will be posted back to you within 3 days of us having received them.
"What's the difference between 300dpi and 600dpi?"
Click below to see examples of photos scanned at both resolutions. For most people, 300dpi (dots per inch) will be perfect for general photo reproduction.

"How do you enhance my photos?"
We can often improve the contrast and colour tones of your photos. If you would prefer not to have this, please add this as a comment during the checkout process.
"How should I package and send the photos?"

"Can you scan slides or negatives?"
We do not offer a slide scanning service. We are exclusively a photo scanning service.
"Do you keep a copy of my photos?"
We will keep a copy of the photos for 28 days on our servers to ensure you have received your photos back and are happy with the service. After this time, we will delete our copies. Your privacy will not be compromised.
"How can I upload my photos to the internet to keep them safe?"

"Who do you use to send the photos back to me?"
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery. Packages must be signed for and can be tracked online. We suggest that you use a similar service when sending your photos to us.
"What size of photos will you scan?"
We can scan photos from 50mm x 63.5mm (2in x 2.5in) up to 215mm x 863mm (8.5in x 34in). E.g from passport photos up to extra long graduation photos.
"What if I want a vast quantity of photos to be scanned?"
If you have an order for more than 2000 photos, please contact us on 0800 046 1615, or email info@scanero.com.
"Will the CD/DVD work on a PC and an Apple Mac?"
Yes.
"Do you create slideshows of my pictures?"
No, we solely transfer your photos to CD/DVD. You can then create your own slideshows with your computer.
"I’m based outside the UK, can I place an order?"
We’re sorry, but we currently accept orders from the UK only.
